Perspective

It has been a looong time since my last post which can only mean two things 1. I am knitting like a mad woman and my hands are occupied 2. I have hit writers block and I can't find the right words. I am a much better 'face to face' chit chatter than I am a writer, but I gave this little blog life last year and I like the challenge.

Since my campaign shoot I dove head first into my Perspective collection for FAT. If you recall from last year I collaborated with Jen from Saint Genovefa and created Formal Rebellion. This year it was time to step out on my own, and with the new FW15 Evergreen collection fresh in my mind I was still feeling the urge to expand my designing. It is never easy showing off your hard work, and it's true that throughout the creative process you will have a love/hate relationship with your own work so it goes without say that I held my breath for the 10 minutes that my collection was walking down the runway.

Perspective is the title of the collection and it was a simple idea of looking at a body of work, and making conclusions with no wrong answers. I challenged the audience to post #MyPerspective and tell me what they saw in my collection. It was quite interesting to see all of the different answers I got for each piece! If you didn't get a chance to see the collection in person, here are a few of the most popular pieces, add your perspectives below in the comments and as always there is no wrong answer so let your imagination go!
